Overview of SLPS Option

Because 'Simulink' represents an 'ideal' model, it only deals with signals as one-way data and doesn't, therefore, take signal reflections, etc, into account.

OrCADĀ® SLPS is an interface that allows PSpice blocks to be imported into a Simulink model, letting you integrate system level designs with circuit level details in a 'co-simulation' environment.

Combined, Simulink and PSpice deliver a powerful 'virtual prototyping' capability that helps identify errors early in the design process, obviating the need to use a physical prototype to identify design issues.
